Todd in Scotland (1980)

These pictures were taken with an Instamatic camera in the summer of 1980. I had the opportunity to travel for an overseas study program at Michigan State University. The class I took was "mass media" and it was at the University of London for about 3 weeks or so. After that, I hitch hiked with my backpack through Whales, through the Lake District of Northern England, and then up into Scotland. Of course, Scotland was the best. The top picture is a coastal town on the Irish Sea. The middle picture is the Heavyweight Championship of the Highland Games. The bottom picture is a twenty-two year-old Todd partying with some locals.
